I come, I see, I Hunt and I Chiak Its mainly about food, some fashion, movie and the 'lengang' days of me~

This afternoon while waiting for Tatt they all to reach the jetty, I was sitting down with the guide and asking him where got nice food. So this were the place for dinner which he claim to be very very nice. Lunch was so so but he mention alot about this, so decided to go along with his recommendation.

When we reached the shop, we feel damm hot even though it was cloudy that day but still hot. Inside the shop is even worst. Its like hell, whereby inside is like oven. Usually you will see a coffee shop that all the stalls are arrange in L shape or most of them store inside but this, the hawker are store all outside it that had cover outside air to come in. With most of the stores that are cooking at that time and the heat that came in is just hot and bloody warm.

The moment we went in, we were like wanted to get out ASAP. Doesnt feel comfortable but then just go along with it since the guide had promote so much bout this shop.

This is a very safe restaurant to save your ass with pisau Parang. Whereby you will just eat lah dulu...then bayar kemudian. The next thing you know was your bill is so much high!

This is what I have order, 'Air Limau Kasturi'. I like the taste alot as the first mouth it is a quench thrist drink. Very refreshing. Quite thick in flavour enough cold and perfect to drink in such environment. RM2

'Mee Soto' which cost RM 3. I just feel weird on the taste or maybe I had just eat before a nicer 1. To compare it with what I ate in Jakarta or Ayem Penyet is quite much diff. 3 tastes different. The soup base is lack of salt, the taste I just feel something is not there. Don know what.

After waiting for that si lang Tatt at the jetty for 4 hours then faster faster ask the driver to bring us to makan 1st. So this is the first place that he told us, Aiya...don worry...I bring you go eat nice and cheap cheap food.

Look many ppl but maybe the population in Terengganu is little or stay spread out. Alot of Kampung's here. There are 2 diff store's in this shop. The front will be a the indian and the original kopitiam 1 is the Nasi Melayu.

So this is what my brother took from the indian store. Chicken, Mutton and rice which cost RM5 which I think its very cheap. The mutton curry is mild, nice to eat along with rice but the mutton meat is full with the vains. So have to chew it like chewing gum. The chicken just so so.

This is what I took which I always believe nasi melayu is with fish along. This 2 thing cost me RM4.50 which I still think cheap. The fish gravy is nice, the fish meat is hard and I just dont like it . Feels not fresh then go fried it. The cabbage just taste funny. A bit of wasabi taste, then the long beans is a bit overcook. I didnt finish my meal also.

Then one of my friend took the Nasi Beriani from the front stall also cuz I told them the Nasi Melayu 1 not nice not nice as they came by in second car. The taste of its Nasi Beriani is so so so so far by best of the whole dish compare to what with have order. Not so oily yet the aeroma of it is there. Eat with some Dal is just perfect.

Will be only done once there. If got to back also wont be this shop again~

In our package to Redang, food was included. Can say that the food is worst than the food in my company canteen.

Arrival of Day 1 lunch:

The vegie is tasteless. Have to add soy sauce on myself to bring up the taste a bit.

The fish is not really fresh and the tomato in the meal is just more like a decoration rather than the taste.

Fried Wantan with our rice?seems abit weird. Eating more of the skin rater than then the meat in it~

The ABC soup is more like a hot water and just chuck in the rest of the ingredient and leave it to boiling point and then ready to be serve.

The Curry Chicken is thick in sauce but mild in flavour. Cant really pick up the gravy from it as it is thick! The chicken is slightly over cook.

Day 1 Seafood Dinner:



The chicken wing in s not bad, as they are well kept on fire temperature to pangang it~

The lamb was a bit disappointed because it is very chewy and hard to bite offf. More like the meat is overcook and tasteless!

Normal sausage. Just that for breakfast~

Didnt even bother to try cuz just normal fish ball as my friend said.

Cant take beef. So no Idea.

The food gravy is nice. Well wrap but just that wrap not enough compact the sauce can just season abit and sock it in~

Day 2 : Morning Breakfast

The last day at Redang and return to the mainland which is Terengganu for a day trip. Alot of my friend told me not to waste my time to go there but I still remember that, when I was young, everytime thought of Terengganu will think of Turtles lay egg. Even did once when I was in primary follow school trip to came here to see turtle lay egg, mana tau, after wating whole nigght with lots of ppl tarak anyting. Even the turtle ghost bayang also tarak!

But still decided to go ahead and follow my buddie Tatt and his gang for the day tour. The bloody thing was me and my friends waited for him for 4 hours. We were sent out by the hotel in the earliest boat and his hotel send them out the latest boat. WTF>!

The best part is, when he keep asking where am I and I asked him where is he for the 1st sms, he said on the way, then me and my friends were sitting in one of the stalls nearby just to wait for him. Hours past and the shop also wanna tutup liau, so we went to his jetty to wait for him.

2nd sms came, saying that reaching liau, the boat is parking. Suprrisingly, the boat just passby us which is from Laguna and not his and ngam ngam parking also, thought that he took that boat. Mana tau 45 mins later also didnt see him. Just ignore then.

3rd sms came. Just finish cornaring..parking soon. I straight away told him..Tiu..where got boat park, I am at your jetty, no boat also. Then no reply.25 mins later his boat arrive. Sial betul.. 4 hours wait. from 10.30 - 2.30pm

The first stop of the day as we requested was the market where I get to read the brochure saying that a great place to stop by. Just follow loh~

At the pasar, as you can hardly spot chinese in this market. Onli like 1-3% only. This outdoor market is more like Chee cheong Kai style price average~

The stuff here are very 'cheap ah~'. Buy more got free ah, don want to be also Free ah! Get free to taste lots of the food here as the kakak is very nice. Let us try a few so we decided to buy from her also, since she so good in talking.

Inside the market were selling about the same thing also. But since we arleady bought it, just walk walk around loh~

Then saw this, as I remembered that a month ago, my colleage did treat me eat this which is very very very nice. I just bought a small pack only.

I tell you, when the gurls Colleen and Nancy walk pass that time, the saw this and shout.....WOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII...Faster faster come and see what is this, then me an Tatt ran over and see what's so special la.. It was really special, the sweets that was extinct already. All of us used to eat this when we were very young. Like bout 5-11 like dat. One of the hit thing in those days. So we did sapu quite alot packet also. I just share with my bro cuz too sweet.


Then go walk walk around. The whole upper floor sell the same thing which is Batik and Malay traditional clothes. See their pricing is not really cheap but then only 1 more comment. The design are very nice!
