IP Man 2 Movie Premier

I guess summer movie list had started to hit onto our local cinema with 2 biggest movie to start from, Ip Man 2 and Iron Man 2 that most of the movie goers are hunting for this weekend. I got a chance to watch IP Man 2 movie preview thanks to Nuffnang for the tickets.

If most of you had watch IP Man part 1 that had anticipated a lot of Wushu martial arts Wing Chun that fought with the Japanese. In this show, the martial art Legend fought with American style, Boxing. It also, about pride of every one to defend their martial arts that Sammo Hung had fought with that guy for pride and integrity.

A great martial art movie that I get to know how IP man grows his legacy and one of the news that I got is that Bruce Lee was actually his apprentice. I feel that, there might be a part 3 coming out..Hopefully there us, that might tell the story of Bruce Lee.

Nice movie but some might find it a bit boring as it involves alot of talking but the fighting scene will not dissapoint you.

Ice Kacang Puppy Love

During Chinese New Year, Tiger Woohoo had mades its impact on our local film industry and had made a big buck after that, here comes another great local movie acted by a lot of local and international artist from Taiwan which is the latest film Ice Kacang Puppy Love. This film had made another huge impact on our local film industry which I totally feel it’s a great start to compete with Singapore and Taiwan. The quality and story line is there.

Since the opening last Thursday, its hard to get ticket for this movie, been either left front 2 rows or full house not until yesterday manage to get a good seats on the very last minute.

It is a great story that brings up a lot of childhood memories especially to guys and girls that had puppy love during teenage time and its about ah niu like a girl that unable him to express his love towards his childhood friend till they head off to pursue individual career, yet surprise ending too. Recommended local movie with laughter and love~
Those who say local movie is not in good quality with nice story line, just catch this one. A good exposure of our local movie quality and story line.

Another Hong Kong movie, a cop mastermind coordinating a robbery to steal drugs from the police force to pay off his debt in investment. With a lot of cases and investigation that leads another cop to this mastermind.

The movie so so only not as I expected as good as it is to be. Can watch it during movie day or DVD also can la~

If you got some free time and do not know what to do, can go watch this movie. Kinda mou liew but its not that bad as I expected.

If you do ever watch Scary Movie, and you know what kind of movie is that, then this is the movie in Chinese version which is a few compilation of a few movies to come out with this super 'mou liew' show.

Good enough to kill some time, Movie day or DVD would be the best option.

Another Chinese movie about China's history which I think its very good, as for me I still want to know more about China history but there is too much and yet its in chinese which I do not know how to read.

This movie is about Confucius was one of the very first Chinese that created books, train people how to read and write, and believing in a society that ethics is very important in a state harmony. Then he got chace off by his own countryman and he wondered around China to spread his teaching.

To me, its not a bad movie as I understand more who is Confucious the great man.

Here Comes Fortune

It has been quite a long time since I watch Alam Tam movie and as far as I can remember, the very old film I watch when I was young that he acted together with ‘King Kong’ and the botak guy they all in a series of comedy movie also.

Well, to me it is great to see him re-appearing in the movie screen again, as his action and character is always funny. The same to this movie when he act as The God of Fortune. Then he ask all his deity to go down earth to give prosperity to selected target to each of them. You have to see what device they use. Its very modern and funny to be used for the god and all the given task to the deity that they have to finish it within the time frame if not they will be forever stuck in the human world.

Not a bad movie to watch too as I thought it would be bad but turns out to be quite funny or just me again being mou liew?

Another nice Chinese New Year Movie, it’s a comedy but then as my friend told me, if did not watch TVB you would not know who are the artist but even to me I seldom watch I know most of the artist..

The movie is about 2 best friends going after a girl and many years down the road from best friend they had become enemy over a girl and even open business opposite each other to create stiff competition and promotion. Then came a very rich guy from china plan to buy the whole street and the whole story took a twist and become back good friend.

Chinese new year movie is always about the comedy with the cast of Loius Khoo being the emperor and the sister Pearl is on the way back to the palace and during the way, they were attack by the pirates and Pearl fall into the river. When they fish out the girl, and did not realize that its different girl and Pearl had been fish out by another guy. The story continues. . . . and its kinda mou liew also the movie. Like one of the part how they use the lyric of some singers to express their love. .

A comedy movie for mou liew people like me and my friends.

True Legend

If compare 14 Blades and this movie, this movie is definitely much better as it talks about how the world drunken fist is created out and now it had been practice by millions around the world.

If the movie is Jay Chou did not act as the god master, I think it would be much better. I like how they fight. Quite a nice movie . . .

Current Chinese movie is mostly on China’s history. On Ming and Qing dynasty, I would say that, this would not be the best Jackie Chan film that I find it very boring.

Just watch it during movie day or just grab a dvd lah~

This movie had been a hit in local movie industry. After a few movie premier and I have heard and read alot of good review about this movie not until recently I manage to watch it. 2 weeks after the movie was release, its still enjoying full house or 80% tickets sold. As far as I could say, after watching this movie, I am proud of our local Chinese movie at last got its very own quality and story plot. Although its kinda predictable in the movie yet its just a great movie. I love the cinematography way how they shoot it, from that lens had portray out alot of great shots and scenes that can makes you feel all the moments or maybe its because local movie and what they say is we have walk through it before.

This movie is talks on our local culture, social values and family where Ah Beng got fired, and the neighbour keep showing off how great there were and then they found a local employment up in Kelantan for a Tiger Dance. This where the whole story begins. A few moments of tears yet adding in laughter is a great medicine to make people laugh back.

Laughter comes with the mixing of local dialects, of Hokkien, Cantonese, Mandarin and Hakka (if I am not mistaken) and all the cast are from Astro My.FM Deejays. Thumbs up from me for a local production. Looking forward for more. A Recommended show from me.

Some people told that this movie is so so only, well, to me its not a bad movie as maybe I did not put any expectation to watch it.

The movie is about Jay Chow protecting all the artifacts and return it to the rightful owner and till his mentor gave him a treasure map which was believe buried one of the most legend or myth that been hunting by a lot of people and Chi Ling dad died because of the map while the daughter got kidnap and Jay Chou got the map to exchange with Chi Ling and there the adventure begins.

This movie gives me the feeling of ‘Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider and The Mummy’ combine to come out with this movie with the effect.

The movie can be watch on movie day or DVD.

A movie which is about 8 people to protect the legendary Sun Yat Sen against assignation when he is in Hong Kong which send by the emperor. As I thought this movie would be boring but its more on history if you love that.

To me, I felt it’s a great movie how they willing to sacrifice in order to gain the best for the country. Great to watch in cinema or DVD.

When I saw this movie I was wondering is this movie the same as the cartoon I used to watch long long time ago and my friend told me it’s a great movie too.

After watching the movie only realize that, it’s the same as the cartoon which about a girl who replace her sick dad to the war zone and with her credibility she got promoted very fast with another great warrior beside her and as they fought side by side and their feeling grows stronger and they had fall in love. In the end, the emperor set a role example to the whole nation and she let go of the General pose to go back to village to take care of her father.

Not a bad movie after all. Can watch in the cinema.

One of their very first film which I would say quite a nice movie and with its effect and huge publicity of this movie, a lot of people went in with high expectation yet most of my friends got disappointed but to me its okay la..

The movie is about both the Wind and Cloud need to combine powers to battle against the powerfull dark lord and Wind have to learn the darkside power in this such period of time to gain so much power.

The movie is so so la, I would recommend you can watch it during movie day or DVD would be a great option.

Poker King

Texas Hold’ Em had become a trend of poker now which is not like those old old days with the Chow Yun Fatt kind of poker with 5 cards individually in a row. If you love their previous movie La Brassiere then you are going to enjoy this movie too.

Louis Khoo in the movie portray as a great online gamer in Texas Hold’ Em but when Lau Cheng Wan ask him to come back immediately to tell him on his father’s death, and even watching the video of his dad signing on that the company will be manage by Lau he felt even more devastated. He was chase out by Lau on his crap game in poker and he met a girl, Stephy and there is where his winning luck begins. From small to big stake and in the end they met in the tournament to showdown who is the Poker King.

A great and funny movie that I enjoy watching which it has been a while there is no nice Cantonese movie. With this 2 guy combining to act which is my 2 favorite actor its hard to miss their show.If you are boring or not in the mood, this would be a recommended show by me~

Another gangster movie from Hong Kong movie film industry. At least I would say that this movie is much better to Laughing Gor(totally Suck!) even though from the same director. Even though this movie alot of talking and 30% of 'pek yau' still quite good.

It was all about gang triad which is quite powerful and controlling happily on each of their turf as they were so corporate and combining each other to take care each of their very own place. When there is a problem, 5 of the 'tai lou' gang on them. The police force were having big headache how to crack this group down, as they want to crack all 5 together. So they had plot something into the gang. Ended some die and some got caught. The answer is reveal at the end of the story.

Love how Chapman To act, look so 'lan jiau' in this kind of movie. Enjoy the show. Its a good show I show I would say.

Accident Movie

The show is about a group of assassin being paid to kill selected target. The group was lead by Louis Khoo and he is the mastermind behind all the ‘Accidents’. All the target that got killed was plan accordingly to happen like an accident.

During middle of an assassination, an accident happened that killed one of his team member... People that who eat chili know what is spicy being very suspicious that he thought the accident happen was plan by other group of assassins, he suspect his own team mates and kill them. In the end, it was really an accident.

A boring movie. . . .. . can just save your money to watch other show. Can just grab a DVD or safe your money for that piece of DVD also.

Do not know what to do last weekend, so ask the rest to go watch movie, and seems like recently there are a lot of Chinese movie to watch, which this trailer seems to be interesting.

Movie plot abit dragging which they are underground assasins and Antony Wong they all got hired by that guy to hunt down the other group that killed his family. The French guy had a memory lost on and off cuz he had a bullet in his brain which did not took out. In the end, the movie is the soul survivor which is The French guy. The rest all MATI.

If you would want to watch it, safe your money to spend it on movie day or DVD.

Murderer Premier

It is funny that, how come in my desktop the colour of the poster is red and after uploaded it turns to blue. After trying out a lot of times, still come out the same effect.. aiya..chin chai la~

Watch this movie few days back and again, thanks to nuffies for inviting. Even without inviting, I wanted to watch this movie, as Aaron Kwok had been missing in action quite some time, but previously I am not a big fan of his but did read out he won numerous awards recently so kinda interested with this movie after watching the preview.

This movie is about, he got set up, and fall from a building, then when he was conscious, he lost his memory. While he was looking for the murdering case on that moment, a lot of evidence points back to him, and he is getting more frustrated on the clue which he told to ppl and most of them did not believe him.

The best part of the whole movie is that the plot of the killing and clue is a mastermind of UNEXPECTED person in the family. For who is the mastermind, watch the movie to find out yourself which Aaron Kwok posses a role of a lunatic in the end which me and my friends find it kinda yeng yet funny.

Been wondering, why recently the movie is about kids with special abilities like that. Is there really an existence of those kind of human like The Orphan or Curious Case of Benjamin Button and this movie or is the movie is just a movie.
Well, this movie is not bad as I miss the first 20 minutes and sadly to say, the ending haih..no comment.

Highly recommended to watch during movie day or DVD would be good.
