IP Man 2 Movie Premier

I guess summer movie list had started to hit onto our local cinema with 2 biggest movie to start from, Ip Man 2 and Iron Man 2 that most of the movie goers are hunting for this weekend. I got a chance to watch IP Man 2 movie preview thanks to Nuffnang for the tickets.

If most of you had watch IP Man part 1 that had anticipated a lot of Wushu martial arts Wing Chun that fought with the Japanese. In this show, the martial art Legend fought with American style, Boxing. It also, about pride of every one to defend their martial arts that Sammo Hung had fought with that guy for pride and integrity.

A great martial art movie that I get to know how IP man grows his legacy and one of the news that I got is that Bruce Lee was actually his apprentice. I feel that, there might be a part 3 coming out..Hopefully there us, that might tell the story of Bruce Lee.

Nice movie but some might find it a bit boring as it involves alot of talking but the fighting scene will not dissapoint you.

After I have read a few review from bloggers saying that this a good movie, and by watching the preview and their comment so we give it a try since there is nothing much to do for the day.

The movie is about, a special op was operate in Bolivia and then the mission changed when there involve kids, till when the chopper arrive, 5 of them suppose to be in it then a missile hit the chopper full of kids, that want them to die, the story continue from there, where they go and head back to US to hunt the guy.

Quite a nice movie, with a few cool actions involve.

A movie which talk about he as a detective and trying hard to investigate hunt the killer that kill his wife, and watch till the end of the movie. . . . only realize that why he is in shutter island.

Not a bad movie after all but watch during movie day better la`

Another Hong Kong movie, a cop mastermind coordinating a robbery to steal drugs from the police force to pay off his debt in investment. With a lot of cases and investigation that leads another cop to this mastermind.

The movie so so only not as I expected as good as it is to be. Can watch it during movie day or DVD also can la~

Being Human, Singapore Movie

Even Jack Neo with his recent news of scandals but his movie is still quite good. Being all the ingredient that have in the movie, sad, laughter, cherish moment and moral of the stories is always in the movie. With his recent movie, Being Human, I find it quite a good one which is about doing business not to just earn money but customer's health is also to be taken care of. Good deeds always comes with future good return.

For me, its quite a nice movie afterall. Worth to watch.

I watch this movie in 3-D. After watching this movie, only I understand why there are no subtitle in 3-D movie as I find it very irritating with the wordings poping out so front and blog 1/5 of the images.

Quite a nice show, just don waste money in watching 3-D and feel its something the same as the movie Piercy Jackson the Lightning Theif. Some people find it either very good or very bad. For me I find it good. Worth a watch.

My friend invited me for this movie, and do not know what movie it is, just by watching the trailer at home, thought it is a bad choice but this movie seriously proves me wrong. It’s a great movie! Surely I am recommending this.

Well, in this movie choice I actually plan to watch this movie in normal screen and Alice in Wonderland in 3-D, after much review by a lot of people that Alice in Wonderland Sucks and recommended Dragon to be watch in 3-D…it’s a great show! Another movie to recommended in 3-D. worth a watch.

Overall ratings 9/10, if you like animation 3-D is recommended!~

After watch this movie, we feel a bit headache of the shooting style of the film, handheld, not a bad show afterall.

If you got some free time and do not know what to do, can go watch this movie. Kinda mou liew but its not that bad as I expected.

just another pandora box

If you do ever watch Scary Movie, and you know what kind of movie is that, then this is the movie in Chinese version which is a few compilation of a few movies to come out with this super 'mou liew' show.

Good enough to kill some time, Movie day or DVD would be the best option.

From Paris with Love

John Travolta had always been quite yeng in the movie but this movie suddenly give me the feeling of his old movie Saturday Night Fever when he was still very very young, maybe because of the best area of uncut languages that he is using.

As John Travolta is one of something like a secret agent hire to act against terrorist but his look does not justify that he works for the government, and he is specially hired by the French Government to trace the trails of terrorism and while that he work with one of a local agent.

Action packed movie, very nice. Worth a watch to see all the shooting and bazooka style hunting.

Here Comes Fortune

It has been quite a long time since I watch Alam Tam movie and as far as I can remember, the very old film I watch when I was young that he acted together with ‘King Kong’ and the botak guy they all in a series of comedy movie also.

Well, to me it is great to see him re-appearing in the movie screen again, as his action and character is always funny. The same to this movie when he act as The God of Fortune. Then he ask all his deity to go down earth to give prosperity to selected target to each of them. You have to see what device they use. Its very modern and funny to be used for the god and all the given task to the deity that they have to finish it within the time frame if not they will be forever stuck in the human world.

Not a bad movie to watch too as I thought it would be bad but turns out to be quite funny or just me again being mou liew?

I have to thanks to sloppychic again for the movie this movie premier. Thank god its movie tickets by sloppychic as its another movie that I got cheated by the preview again.

I thought that it would be a action packed movie mana tau its not, it’s a movie about Bible and how he wanted to pass the book possession to a better community or people.

This is not my type of movie, kinda boring and for those who are religious on Bible or Jesus, this would be the movie you would want to watch.

Another nice Chinese New Year Movie, it’s a comedy but then as my friend told me, if did not watch TVB you would not know who are the artist but even to me I seldom watch I know most of the artist..

The movie is about 2 best friends going after a girl and many years down the road from best friend they had become enemy over a girl and even open business opposite each other to create stiff competition and promotion. Then came a very rich guy from china plan to buy the whole street and the whole story took a twist and become back good friend.

Chinese new year movie is always about the comedy with the cast of Loius Khoo being the emperor and the sister Pearl is on the way back to the palace and during the way, they were attack by the pirates and Pearl fall into the river. When they fish out the girl, and did not realize that its different girl and Pearl had been fish out by another guy. The story continues. . . . and its kinda mou liew also the movie. Like one of the part how they use the lyric of some singers to express their love. .

A comedy movie for mou liew people like me and my friends.

True Legend

If compare 14 Blades and this movie, this movie is definitely much better as it talks about how the world drunken fist is created out and now it had been practice by millions around the world.

If the movie is Jay Chou did not act as the god master, I think it would be much better. I like how they fight. Quite a nice movie . . .

Wolfman

We have seen Transformer and this is another movie of transformer that human transform to wolve. In a village had been mysteriously murdered by a wild best animal till the brother got killed and Talbot sets out to find the killer of the brother until he got bitten by the wolve and become one himself.

Then the dad send him back to psychology hospital to be treated as he had witness the brutal murder of his mom and keep blaming the dad for the killing, not until the dad visit him in the ward and only realize that the dad is one of the wolfman that had accidentally killed the mom and the brother during full moon. Only he manage to escape from the hospital during the transformation of full moon and rum back to Scotland Yard to hunt back his dad for revenge.

It’s a movie of wolf fight with wolf and the last wolf also die. Not bad la the movie. Thanks to sloppychic for the movie tickets.

Current Chinese movie is mostly on China’s history. On Ming and Qing dynasty, I would say that, this would not be the best Jackie Chan film that I find it very boring.

Just watch it during movie day or just grab a dvd lah~

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

The preview really had created the curiosity in me to catch this movie that how would Zeus the god looks like. I might had been playing too many games last time till I think like that.

The movie is about Zeus god strongest weapon, Lightning Bolt got stolen and Percy is the main suspect. Percy did not know that he is one of the strongest god’s son till one of the creature attack him. Then there he is on the quest to find back the Bolt.

Not a bad movie after all as I did enjoy the movie but if you think logically like my friend, you will find its hard to believe. To me, its a myth that been believe by ancient people and just brining back to life.

Tiger WooHoo

This movie had been a hit in local movie industry. After a few movie premier and I have heard and read alot of good review about this movie not until recently I manage to watch it. 2 weeks after the movie was release, its still enjoying full house or 80% tickets sold. As far as I could say, after watching this movie, I am proud of our local Chinese movie at last got its very own quality and story plot. Although its kinda predictable in the movie yet its just a great movie. I love the cinematography way how they shoot it, from that lens had portray out alot of great shots and scenes that can makes you feel all the moments or maybe its because local movie and what they say is we have walk through it before.

This movie is talks on our local culture, social values and family where Ah Beng got fired, and the neighbour keep showing off how great there were and then they found a local employment up in Kelantan for a Tiger Dance. This where the whole story begins. A few moments of tears yet adding in laughter is a great medicine to make people laugh back.

Laughter comes with the mixing of local dialects, of Hokkien, Cantonese, Mandarin and Hakka (if I am not mistaken) and all the cast are from Astro My.FM Deejays. Thumbs up from me for a local production. Looking forward for more. A Recommended show from me.

Universal Soldier - Regeneration (A New Begining)

This movie I still remember watching it when I was young which at that time Van Damme was still very young in his mid age and in this movie, I just felt that he is just so old.

Show on Van Damme was one of the few super solders and the best in that group that created out in the Army research and after the program was close down he was brought under a care of a doctor for a special care. Not then one of the scientist stole the program and improvise it then Van Damme was was recall back.

Not a very great movie as I expected. Just save your money and watch DVD.

Legion Movie Premier by Churp Churp

Its about an angel had disobey the God’s order to do a mission which he doesn’t believe in and he had turn against the god to protect the human race that the God’s order was to exterminate all the human as he had no more hope for them anymore. The fight is between human and angles.

I thought this movie would be a very geng chow movie with full action pack but turns out to be kinda disappointed. Not a great movie as me and my friend expecting.

Can just choose to watch on movie day or DVD and of course thanks to Churp Churp for the movie tickets~
