Taiwanese Desert, Snowflake @ Pavilion

Right after the movie, we walk back to Pavilion as my car park there because that I do not want to be jam at Convention Center due to PC Fair on that day.

Felt that its still a bit early and before heading off, got to know that my favorite desert shop now had open at Pavilion and went to try it out.

Located directly infront of Padini, here stood a nice stall which caught by my surprise that they operate it here as I always thought that it would be around Forever 21 area or Food Republic.

A nicely build up desert stall which is very different compare to their branch at SS15.

Menu is not the same as they do not have light snacks here, due to their location at Pavilion that are not allow to cook.

Snowflakes under 'Grass Jelly Version' that have pearls, red bean and yam pieces.


Then pour upon the given milk base to add in extra flavour. Just love how they did their blended smooth ice that just melt in my tongue.


Then my friend order the 'Taufufa Series' with their very own signature Taro Balls and this is serve warm. Love the taste of it which had a clear soup base which is very refreshing as my friend was sick that day which is good. The taro balls never dissapoint us as its still the same as the main branch, chewy like buble gum.

Never got bored of the desert from this shop and had a brief chat with the friendly owner that they are planing to open more branches soon. So look out~

My Honeymoon Desert @ 1-Utama

I do shop, eat and walk around in 1-Utama but surprisingly I never walk to around this area until I was out of idea what to eat that day and ask where is Subway only realise there are another food area instead of the 3rd floor. While walking towards Subway, this shop sure caught my attention as I am a big fan of deserts but I have not came across any nice desert that I have kept in mind as my much prefer or in hunting such as sweet desert (snowy ice) or anything in cold.

After finishing eating Subway, hurried to this place which looks like a nice place to hang out too.


From the outside I thought the books were real till I sat down only realise it was wall paper and it looks cool too, something like Library.


They do have a few categories of desert in their menu. Surely they have wide selections and picture illustration in it looks good too.

Till I came across and decided to order this desert 'Mango Special Lo' if I do not remember wrongly, I saw something like Hong Kong desert which makes me think back of the great mango drink Hoi Lau San, that tasted so good thought it would be good too.

When it was serve, me and my friend was like staring at it. 'What a big bowl' and mango cubes which is so little that can be calculated, and the base is like fettuccine (something that taste like taufufa) then mango syrup mix base. The taste is not bad but with the cost RM14.30(including service charge 10%), which is VERY EXPENSIVE for such a desert and quality that I think I can think of a few which taste much better than this yet cheaper.
Would just visit this desert for only once. Will not be returning back.

Tutti Frutti @ Sunway Pyramid

Recently I went to Pyramid and meet up with Masako as she said she wanted to get a camera DSLR too and want me to follow her along. As on that morning went for food hunting at Klang and it was on the way so meet her up. After checking out a dummy camera at SenQ(if not mistaken) then I walk out and saw this shop, at first I thought the shop was selling refregirator but then I saw people walking out with something on their hand that can eat. So I walk over and kaypo abit only realise that it was a yougurt desert shop then only notice their brand name.

Never heard of the name before but never care and wanted to try, and after google it a bit and found out that this yogurt desert is from USA and a franchise around the world. Sunway Pyramid being their very first outlet and it will expand quite fast as this Franchise was recently purchase by NAZA group.



When I look back at this picture, I still think that from this side view witout looking at the counter it still look like a place selling refregirator..kekek

First step you will take a cup from the side area, ranging from small to big and then you will head to these machines to pump out your favourite choice of yogurt flavor or you can mix around. It feels like you are working inside the MacD kiosk ice cream counter.

7 flavours are available at the moment.

Masako pump out 3 flavours, Chocolate, Lychee and Original.
I love 3 of the flavours, very flavourful with its own taste and the yogurt is very soft and very strong yogurt taste which I like it and did not overpower the flavors of it. It will be only my one time experience as it will dig up a hole in your pocket.

Then you head to this very next counter for.................

You can end up with these.


and you definately must guess how much is this cup of yogurt as Masako as us to guess it too. To my shoking price it cost RM20. For such a cup it will be the most expensive ice cream yogurt I ever eaten. How it is calculated as below:

10g for RM0.53

With that kind of price this are the size of the cup which is the medium cup.

and its not full too and both of them said that, luckily it was not me that took the ice cream. They really understand me well. If for me I will pull the ice creal till very high and add on alot of toppings as with my understanding how much will it cost only la.

Then we saw a malay family came in with 2 kids, 2 of their wife's went to pull the ice cream too and they took a large cup each. They have the same thought like me, pulling it alot and high then top up with alot of toppings and then reach the cashier. 3 of us were very curious about the pricing and keep peeking on it and we start guessing, the same goes to the chinese couple sitting next to us, peeking at it too...

Their charges per cup was around RM39, they got shock on the pricing and ask their husband for extra money. 2 cups of frozen yougurt RM78... I believe its a good marketing strategy which is you cannot refund back the ice cream to them cuz you made it yourself and you have to pay for what you have done.

With their charges like that, I have to say that, they will be the most expensive yogurt desert that is even more expensive than Haegan Das and Baskin.

It sure taste good, but will return back when they change their price.

Cakes by Sunny - BigBoysOven

This month is totally full of birthday, it comes in a row that now my pocket had got burn a big hole. First was my mom, then colleage, and 3 more friend and last and upcoming next week is my best friend Yeong. Usually I got kinda phobia when it comes to birthday which usually buy Secret Recepi cake and eat till want to vomit already. Its always those few flavours and then change to Beard Story or History cake which I cannot remember but it is located in the lower ground of Mid Valley in the center court as that shop do sell nice and cheap cakes.

Till then it came to my mind that why not I order a cake from a good friend of mine, Sunny which he had baking history of more than 15 years yet he did feature in newspaper a few times. I did try out his cake before and the taste does come to my liking which is one thing. Not too sweet. With the price about the same as secret recipe of course I do rather choose him over that shop.

For the very first order we did came up a prank as plan with Kebbie to give them a little surprise. Then called up Sunny and ask him is he able to do that cake or not. The response was a big YES and requested 3-D look alike with a few features, he also mention that 4-D also can loh..... Then both of us were very excited yet very curious how it is gonna look like.

Our very own design of ‘Walnut Cake’ in Ku Ku Ciau version, then the whole camwhore session involve and was told not to post any of the pics beside the ku ku ciau cake in the blog. If not I will die very terrible like terrorist plot and attack against you. Kekek.

The cake is good, moist enough which is not too dry yet when you bite on the cake, its soft and get to enjoy biting on the chunks of walnut.

Next a cake ordering is for Kebbie’s son, Hamburger which had turn to 1 years old. Lol, why hamburger is that the son is so cuteeee and so chubby that looks like Hamburger yet we do have another nick for him as he grow then will turn into whopper but every time we mention this, sure kena kick or walap 1 without this mischievous person we could not get a good laugh, Karen. The demon.

'Pancake Marble Gauteaux' consists of vanilla mousse, chocolate ganache, chocolate cake and end up with a thin layer of pan cakes which makes it very flavourful. All of us were attacking on that piece. The cake we moist and the flavour is there exactly what been made off. A cake that we would miss.

Florence order 'Mango Moose Cake' for our boss birthday. A carefull bend of the chocolate swirl that added on it with a few of the Macaron were requested as its good that taste something like cookie but its not.

The bosses got surprise when try on the cake as the were expecting the cake to be sweet but it does not as it suits to their liking. Most of them had more than 1 pieces and some even took more. For us we like it as it was build on with a layer of mango, a layer of sponge cake, a thin layer of moose and end up with a thin layer of icing. The mango were very sweet and blended well with the soft sponge cake. It was best to be eaten it cold as the flavor of mango was preserve. Surely we are going to get more order from Sunny in the future.

When the rabbit climb up the tree, what he saw was me, the tempting cute looking cake monster standing there staring at him with to big eyes hypnotizing him and saying.....'Chiak pa boi'(eat already ah? in hokkien) lai laaaa..... laaiiii laaaa... 'wa chin hoh chiak eh'(I taste very good eh). Don want to eat is your lost.

The rabbit then jump so high that he never jump before from the tree towards me and kidnap me back home and share with his friends.

A simple design never thought this 'Strawberry Short Cake' would taste so good. Soft sponge cake filled with fresh strawberries covered with mild top layer of icing, makes it a perfect desert after meal. RM9

This is me...standing naked'ly potraying for photoshot..yerrr..I'm shy de ma..kena force! but don mind la..since got hair covered. Then my owner see me so pai seh there and decided to do a make over of me.

Plastic surgery . . . .

I was given a make over on my eyes with rapsberry, then a very cute strawberry nose . .

heh...I tell you...don pray prayy! I know smoke after meal is satisfying but let me tell you, by eating me after meal is more satisfying then after climax.

Actually, let me tell you where I was from, I am 1 day old now and was born in this shop, Rui located some where dalam dalam in KL called Mt.Kiara. I like to stare at guys and girls.

After I was born and given simple dressing, then I got lost why I got displayed in this cold fridge with other weird looking cakes that only a few of them looks similiar like me. The rest are like so giant on level below. Then only got to know that, we have to look as good and confident to be bought away. This is where my owner bought me away. At last.....

For them, they don share the privillage as me..they were left on the outside kena blow by cold wind.

and another of the 'fei hai'(fat ass) 'Rapsberry and Strawberry cake' if I remember his name correctly was bought too. RM19

Then we were packaged in this box and taken away.

For the taste, I will give satisfaction to those who know how to enjoy and bring me home along. I am very cheap to be bought away. My owner Lyssa.K is the kind one and I also got to know that another factory also produce great cakes and my owner's friend was introduce by this guy. Bigboysoven - they got great selection of cakes too, lastest addition on their range, Durian Cake.

This 2 cakes shop are in my hit list. With their quality, and pricing its much better compare to Secret Recepi or cakes shops out there...

psssst: the lady which I believe is the mom did introduce me alot of types of cakes and also got to know that this branch Mt.Kiara is more like ordering purpose. If would like to try out their cakes I was advice to try out on their PJ branch.

Since I came back from Melbourne, Gelato has always been my most preferred ice cream compare to Hagen Das or Baskin. Previously did tried out a couple of stalls but didn’t took photo of it as it was before my blogging era until I found a stall which really keep me going back was this brand. G Gelato but I am not sure is it the same as Pavilion stall(my most preferred stall).

Why gelato is my most preferred choice as its made daily and the texture of it is more dense. Made by a lot of fresh ingredients and sugar level is less compare to those 2 I mention.


The range of flavor definitely attracts me a lot with a section of sweeter and classic area which my favorites are 'Hazelnut, Roche', and chocolate range is good.

Another area will be the fruity range. With my most preferred choice 'Durian, Mango and banana' or during high temperature lime would be in my radar cooling yet sour.

As I was at KLCC and was craving for Ice cream then found it. The price range is from RM6.80-RM13. Cons and cups available. The quality of course varies. Sometimes it would be very nice some times it would be very so so cuz it has to depends on the people that are doing it and the quality of ingredient they are getting on the day.

Schokolat @ Solaris, Mt.Kiara

Got a call from Sidney(BigboysOven) asking me wanna go makan dinner a not, so I asked him where la..he mention its at Schokolat at Mt.Kiara there which is so coincidence that my friends were telling me about this shop the day b4 and here they ask me to go. Of course happily accept his invites to go makan together. I bring Coco along also.

I was there early, and the place is very easy located which is just right in front of Tenji Restaurant. Schokolat~



Of course most of the café now have indoor and outdoor which is a good news for smokers, for smokers it is pretty cool that, the place that they are seated overlook the highway which is beautiful lit during the night.

I am quite impress of the interior design that they have with light dim lights overshadow the shop, a big chair and sofa’s located by the tables where you will be comfort seated . With soft jazz music playing on the background, could not agree more to be a great place for friends to keep in touch or hangout especially for love birds.

This is where the king and queen are seated privately on this shelf area but to me I still think it can kinda attract attention as it is 2 steps high above and overlook the floor area. Can try though but I feel its funny.

By me being not so big fan of chocolate lover only to certain brand but I cannot denied on they having a wide range of chocolate selection.

My biggest crush is on this fridge. The cakes area. Yummmm…
By looking with a few selected temptation, I am already swallowing my own saliva.






Love the design of the menu, paint with their signature dish and drinks. Not much choice on food but certainly a wide range of chocolate drinks.

I see the menu also headache, as I have difficulties on looking at new menu. Everything looks good to me. Then the waiter suggests this to me. 'Soulmate' RM16.90 Dark Chocolate ice-cream blended with crunchy peanut butter & Topped with whipped cream. One glass for me is quite filling, very rich and thick in flavor yet you cant resist it as filled with mild taste of peanut butter which makes it just perfect.


The name of 'Cuddle and Coddle' House made Choc Chips Cookie blended with Dark Choc Ice Cream RM16.90 Attracts my attention and with the picture in it, lagi I want to order.

This I suddenly forgot thename.

By going into our soups, we start off with 'Mushroom Bisque' which I always will look for before going into the mains. Mild in taste, and by adding a bit black papper is just nice. It’s a big portion for the price to pay. RM9.90

Recently being a fan of pumpkin again and decided to try out their 'Pumpkin Dreams'. RM9.90. It would taste better if it’s a bit creamy and thicker. Taste wise is not bad.

I have always being a big fan of this which eat it quite often when I was working in a café in Melbourne. Didn’t thought that I could get a nice 1 here. 'Appenzeller' is my chioce. Love it with bacon. The potato is well fried, a bit crispy on the outer layer of the crust and soft in the inside with the taste of bacon soak well in it. A great dish to kick off. RM14.90

Tried another flavor 'Emmentaler' that its always been in my list that everything with cheese would be great. Best if they have the combo of cheese and bacon. RM14.90.

By being limited choice on the menu, we are like particularly trying out 90% of the main dish. This 'Bratwurst Platter' was next on the list. I have never eat 3 sausages for my meal, but given 3 flavor, we are just loving it. Filled nice taste that a sausages must have. RM14.90

'Oh My! Omelette' The name already caught my attention. But with the price tag I feel it’s a bit pricy for a simple dish but cannot denied that its good. The omelets covers cheese and onion in there. MYR 12.90

I have ate normal satay with peanut sauce but I have never tried 'Schokolart Satay' MYR 20.90 Which I think its simply delicious. Something unique in taste yet very good in taste. Surely a dish you would want to look out for. Recommended.

Next we are going after for the 'Lucerne Pie' MYR 20.90 The crust was baked to crispy on the inside out yet butter aroma flying all over making us cant wait to poke on it.

After looking for the treasure inside, we were hoping the next round we could get more gravy.

One of the most unique dish I have ever tried. 'Roasted Lamb Loin with Chocolate & Spice' The lamb meat was tender and juicy, yet with the combination of chocolate on top, I guess that we do not know how to enjoy the flavor; however we do wish that, if it was served without the chocolate dressing, it would be very very nice. MYR 28.90

I lost track on the name of this chocolate drink.

For alcohol lovers, you can try out their chocolate cocktails, they have wide selection on it, and I was trying out 'Chocomint Toddy' with kahlua and another liquor. Taste wise, I enjoyed it. something special that have coffee, chocolate and mild liquor taste. MYR 22

'Sweet Kiss' The red lips of course we took it to camwhore. Left the cake alone, is good but its too sweet for me.

'Aranzia' I just love the taste. Great chocolate taste yet not too sweet that goes perfectly well with my chocolate cocktail.

'Threesome' The name itself already caught all our attention. The name, the look of it is just so hard to resist with its multiple layer of cream and chocolate. To me, I can’t finish the whole thing myself just prefer to share. In my list or recommendation.


By the end of the night, we were all stuff and full with the food and satisfied.

After this visit I went back again on the next 2 days, therefore it’s a combination of both days.

Service wise is good but sometimes its hard to understand one of the guy speaking English as he is not local but overall, noting to complain about but find that the it’s a bit pricey.
