Steven's Corner @ OUG

It has been years since I last visited Steven's corner. Let me count back. It was during my college times, so it will be around 5 years ago was one of our favourite hang out area for me and my housemates. Decided to go back here because totally miss the 'Burung and Cheeze nan' after so long long time whereby how we crave for it last time was when I sleep through the mid night then woke up in the middle of the night hungry, then wake up housemate up, told him 'kia liau!!, we go eat at Steven's Corner' was so in form that drove from Subang to here, then eat eat eat then go all the way back.. lol...those were the days...

I totally forgot to take the picture of the 'Fried Burung'. Next round maybe.

By returning here for dinner and seeing alot of tables ordering western food which I never tried before and decided to give it a go. We ordered Chicken Chop it ended up coming Black Paper Chicken. Double confirm with that guy again, he said it is Chicken Chop..Then I am like harrr.....okay~ weird..

The 'chicken chop a.k.a black paper chicken' is highly recommended by me. It totally taste very nice, with quite strong taste of black paper, the chips is nicely fried whereby you dip it with the gravy and put it on the bread (Self recipe combo) goes along very well. The bread was toasted with butter and nice smell and crispy if you eat it fast.
This definately my favourite. 'Mozarella Cheeze' Nan. It is just like eating pizza, when you pull it, you can see the strings of the cheezee pulling up like springs, just forgot to take the pic of it, just knowing eating it and enjoying it.

Nahh...there...youu see the cheezee...tempting and cheeze dripping.

This is what I decided to try out, 'Nasi Goreng Kambing'. Taste like normal fried rice and the Kambing meat is so hard. It is so hard to chew and swallow. Overcooked. Have eaten much nicer Nasi Goreng Kambing.

The 'Satay' seems like alot of people there are ordering it. So follow the crowd. To me personally I would not recommend it. Alot of fats on the chicken satay and the mutton satay is too hard. Overcooked again. The gravy is abit watery. Do not really taste nice. Overall for this satay, 5/10.

Four Christmases

Posted by Taufulou | Labels: , | Posted On Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 2:04 PM

Genre: Comedy/Romance

This movie is about a couple that were together for quite sometime that do not want to get married as both of them had a divorce family background.

Heard a few friends saying that this movie is quite funny, decided to watch it as it is since it is movie day with my friends. Not much comment to this movie as I would rate this show so so only, a bit hillarious of course with the usual of Vince Vaughn.

If you were planed to watch, not a bad show. You can choose to watch in cinema during movie day or DVD.

Bedtime Stories

Genre: Comedy/Adventure

A movie by Adam Sandler. In the poster this movie definitely looks good, fantasy full with adventure. What I had in mind was during the night before the kids go to bed, by the bedtime stories, I thought that what the kids said it will directly come true, with the effect of imaginative scene straight away showed up.

It is not a bad movie, as usually kids had better imaginations than adults. A funny movie, but overall it is not what as I expected. I think that 'A Night at the Museum' by Ben Stiller' is nicer than this one. But I must say that, the his best previous show was 'Meet the Zohan' totally great movie by him. You need 'Disco Disco'.

If you were planed to watch, not a bad show. You can choose to watch in cinema or DVD.

Year 2008 to Year 2009

Posted by Taufulou | Labels: , | Posted On at 1:24 PM

I have been busy lately cuz it was year end and first week of they year. Well, of course I must wish every one 'Happy New Year'. Sorry for not been updating my blog for the past weeks. Now the thing has been piling up. Please do give me some time to update on it.

Hmmm
, year 2008 had just past in the blink of eye. To me, the year had past so so fast until I just understand what my mentor and my grandpa always said. When you past 24 years old do not blink your eyes. Time flies. Previously I always said that, 'aiya. still got time ma, after thinking back what I did on year 2008, 'wow' really a blink of an eye.

Year 2008 can be considered not the most fruitful or worst year for me as I only manage to achieved 35% of my own goals that I had put up on that year and by comparing backwards to the year that I had put up. well, well, who to blame? myself of course for not being hardworking enough but definitely by seeing the past 1 year I had groom myself in my personality, career life still sucks, went into a wrong company thought that it will be good and the right choice when I made it did not know that the company have alot of 'hidden secrets' which after I found out, I am totally disappointed.

Of course there are happy moments I had in that year, I meet a lot of new people, new friends getting to know them better, close friend that have never been close that been so closed, glad to have you guys by my side, Jakarta trip was memorable with 70's Night on that occasion.

Talking about blog, I wanted to write a blog during my last year in uni which is during year 2006. Ended up writing 2 post. Then never continued anymore. So ended this year with starting to write a blog. Will see how far I can go. It is just for leisure, to share it with the strangers whereby a quote was told to me by my friend which it meant ' There are no strangers in this world, Just that friends that are not known yet' Do not know where he got that but just well, which is pretty true.

Talking about 2009, of course new year, new resolution. The list is there, and this time is is up in my wall, to constantly remind me about what I have to archive this year. I MUST DO IT this year. No more excuses and of course, looking forward for new job, new life, new me.

To those out there, strangers, alien, people that do follow my blog(if there is any) wish you all the best for year 2009. Lets work hard together in realising our dreams. Keep your dreams alive.
