It was a great moment that my friend one of the K’s got promoted which is Kenji, congrats to you bro~. He was in very good mood so we all got to claim a meal from him. So he introduce us his heng tai’s restaurant which is located at SS2 and on that day I was on leave and went to find them for dinner. Ah boh then later kena complain.

'Fried House-Specialty Beancurd' if I am not wrong on the name. Something which is quite simple nothing much to comment on it..JPG)
'Sitr-Fried Young Choy Sum with Oyster Mushrooms' A simple stir fried veggie..JPG)
'Long Beans stir fried with mince pork and chili'. This would taste better compare to the other one. A bit salty if eat it pure like that but would taste good to eat along with rice..JPG)
'Deep Fried Squid'. The sotong didn’t deep fried well, abit soggy on certain pieces yet the dipping sauce was lack of taste..JPG)
'Ginger Lala'. I like this very much, its flavourful cuz it was fried with chinese rice wine..JPG)
For those who got flu, this would be a great dish to be ordered. 'Garlic Steam Fish' which was covered with a sea of chopped garlic. A bit garlic spicy but the fish is alright..JPG)
'Steam Prawn' was also with chinese rice wine. Flavourfull and the aroma was soak into the prawns..JPG)
'Dry Fried Prawns' was fried evenly and the prawns is fresh~.JPG)
'Kam Hiong lala' wasnt very good as the could not taste the kam hiong flavor and it was quite salty..JPG)
This place as their signature is to go after Crab and the order came on of 'Butter Crab' lack of taste and fragrance..JPG)

'Sweet and Sour Crab' was not in your hit list. If were given a chance, we would want to avoid this dish.The taste of this restaurant is so so only yet we find it very expensive as the total bill comes around RM677 included 5-6 bottles of large tiger beer. Most of us we will only come here once as because of Kenji yet with the price charge at that rate, we felt more like kena cham even though said heng tai's restaurant but not until that rate which we compare the big bottle of beer out in the market theirs was slightly higher and the food was nothing special. With that kind of price you can get a good meal already.

ahh my mom used to cook sweet n sour crab. the egg, the tomato n chili sause....yummy! but now we just eat out, coz she said it's too troublesome too cook =/

I already tried with my parent, i think the price ok woh...cause can eat big big crab compare to outside..If compare with king crab, the same size of crab, king crab charges even more hinger..They charge RM44/kg, king crab charge RM75/kg with the same size of crab...
I also like the taste too...Maybe different people have different taste gua...
yeah, btu that day we ate wasnt up to the standard la..cuz we were told by my friend how good and how good and we arleady set ourself a standard there, then when eat is like arrhh ...ermmm... hee..as you said loh, diff ppl diff taste..
Hi stumbled upon your blog and usually i am not a follower of your blog but i think maybe you are not a seafood fan of the sort??I have dined at this restaurant despite your recommendation and found it to be very delicious especially the seafood although like you say the price may have been a tad expensive but i havent come across places with crabs so big..did you see the size of the crab claws?Even places like Pantai seafood's crab claws weren't that huge. I feel like you didnt give the place enough credit. Maybe you should try it again with a smaller bunch.
zahara: I am a big fan of seafood, i am saying, overall taste and with that kind of price that we are paying, we can go for much better food and quality.. I just would like to say, what me and my friends feel that just not worth the bill, i know that the crab is big..but did you see the meat in it? for our portion,the meat is only half the size.
overall, i guess the QC is up and down.. since we might have our meal is so so and you have a great meal..that might be the case.
