Restaurant Rebung Chef Ismail @ Bangsar Park

Quite some time ago, we went to this place for lunch with the purpose of getting back an item from them. Their chef was selection on a mission to Africian countries to promote Malaysian food. Therefore, since it was a selected chef to promote Malaysian food on another country, thought that it would be nice and we decided to give it a try.

In this restaurant was located on another side of Bangsar which I never pass by also. Quite interesting that there are a few other restaurant which look nice there. Had put in my list of food hunting area.

Being first time step into Malay restaurant in this area, their decoration quite nyonya style with very old oldies song being as their background music like the 70's era malay song. Quite nice though. If at night, played that kind of song, I am surely going to take a baseball stick to hit on that person cuz very ghostly effect.

In this restaurant you can either go Buffet lunch or ala carte. Then we decided to try out their lunch buffet after checking out on their variety. Their lunch buffett is charging at around RM31++ if I am not mistaken.

This area, is highly recommended by me especially the durian pot which is the first pot on the left. Once you have a sip on it, you will nevers top. A very strong aroma of durian yet its thick and flavorfull. We were thinking of ta pau the whole pot back.
In the middle is the sago and the last one is the cempedak desert if I am not mistaken.


Laksa from the top, bottom left is the mee soto and right forgoten.

The pasemboh or in kl the called it as rojak. the peanut sauce taste abit weird. Popiah on the left is prepared by them and on the right is wrap by us.

Ice kacang machine the ice blended out is abit harsh that if you eat it fast manage to cut you. rojak sauce on it taste weird.

We just enjoyed this the most. Durian desert with nyonya kuih is very good. On the right, I was taught to eat it with rendang. Just my taste. Taste totally out.

The nyoya kuih and the deserts are the best in the list of food.

Overall, we do not know how to enjoy the food or just think that the food is normal. Nothing much special and with the price tag on it, you can just enjoy other variety out there. Most of the names I have forgotten as tried out this place quite some time ago. Aplogize on it but the service is good there.

Prewedding Film - Imagine by Susanto Widjaja

Recently been looking alot on photography pictures till my friend email me this link. I think this video now had been widely circulated and this guy Susanto Widjaja surely deserved to get the 2 Australian Awards for his work creativity.

A great piece of work of videography and how his idea of the whole wedding shot with this MV like video is surely impressive. I could say that I am a fan of this video. Its a sweet video that carries alot of memory.

A Perfect Gateway

Genre: Drama/ Horror/ Mystery/ Thriller

From a famous actress of Resident Evil that caught my attention to watch this movie. Thought it would be another impact geng chow killing movie.

It was about a couple that just got married and went to Hawaii for honeymoon turns out to be. . . . . the killer themself. The whole movie, we thought that it was another couple but it was pretty boring though. Talk all the way and the action just took place slightly around 20 minutes. Not really interesting as it thought to be.

Save up money and grab a piece of DVD will do.

Accident Movie

Genre: Action/ Thriller

The show is about a group of assassin being paid to kill selected target. The group was lead by Louis Khoo and he is the mastermind behind all the ‘Accidents’. All the target that got killed was plan accordingly to happen like an accident.

During middle of an assassination, an accident happened that killed one of his team member... People that who eat chili know what is spicy being very suspicious that he thought the accident happen was plan by other group of assassins, he suspect his own team mates and kill them. In the end, it was really an accident.

A boring movie. . . .. . can just save your money to watch other show. Can just grab a DVD or safe your money for that piece of DVD also.

Portuguese Grill @ Food Court, Mid Valley

Mid Valley is one of the central location that everyone would go. I have recently just discover that, this place is actually hidden in one of the Food Court in the mall. Little did I know that, the price is cheap yet the food is nice is located in this food court that I only walk through once till my friend actually bring me to this place.

One of the stalls that actually with a grill stove like that and the amount of people waiting and queing is just a quite long.

You can choose from a stand alone dish or combination of some seafood.

'Lala Grill' .Grill in perfectly hot yet the chili gravy that cook on it is spicy yet nice. Eat it till sweat start accumulating.

If you are looking for some seafood 'Prawns with Ikan Pari' is a good combination that with the price tag slap on it would not even complain much. The seafood is actually quite fresh soft fish and solid prawn meat.

Overall, the food is quite satisfying with price range from RM6.90-RM15 you can get a nice meal but if you are very hungry I would not encourage you to order. You need about 15-30 minutes of waiting time depending on the crowd. If you go during lunch time, it will be a pain in the ass of waiting time.

Penang Village @ Times Square, KL

Few weeks ago, I was station to work in one of the retailing outlet in KL. Manage to ask my friend to have lunch with me. So this shop was selected. Without hesitation we walked in quickly as the shop looks nice.

Penang is one of the Malaysian choice to eat but this shop. Doubt it.


Since there is a set lunch, of course would try out their package.

The chicken is over fried and abit hard on the crust. Didnt like the sauce.

The Asam Fish is very sour. Taste so so only.
Me and my friend didnt really like the food here.

Hard Rock Hotel @ Batu Ferringi, Penang

One of the hottest hotel had open in Penang. Which attracted alot people from few states to visit this place and especially during this festive season, you can just imagine how is the traffic in this area and all the way up. Being the latest addition in the tourist area and what I have got to know the hotel was fully booked till end of the month with its promotional rate.

The previous hotel is Casuarina and they had taken over and refurbish it and now known as Hard Rock Hotel, Penang.


Being well lit at night, its a nice place to take photo's.

In the hotel, they also showcase most of the classic and famous artist that had previously rock the world.

Ah Kheng was in the toilet and he keep shouting, booookkkk...cannot take like dat one la..no good. I told him, its good to have you as a background.

This reminds me of Futurama. The head statue that can talk but this is for display.

If you are ready to rock everyone's world, so this is the place for you to get ready. 'Rock Shop' is located to the buidling next to it selling all the Hard Rock Souvenir and merchandise.
